Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí): the most crowded place in Prague, many historical events /demonstrations happened here, named after the patron of Bohemia
- it´s 1 km long boulevard, on top is statue of St. Wenceslas and building of Czech National Museum (before Museum there is memorial of Jan Palach)
- if you like to eat something sweet, go to the cake shop Světozor (in the middle of Wenceslas Square, Vodičkova street)
Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí)
- Old Town Hall + Prague Orloj (astronomical clock – it announces every hour so you have to wait here!! 9:00, 10:00, 11:00… – 23:00 and it´s better to come 10 minutes earlier because there is usually lot of people AND be very careful about pickpockets while you will be watching Orloj)

Jewish Quarter Josefov
- Jewish sinagogues and Old Jewish Cemetery
- tours are quite expensive so if you are not really interested I recommend you to visit only Old New Synagogue (200,-CZK /person = 7,50 EUR)

- you can also see a little of Old Jewish Cemetery from 17. Listopadu street for free
- from Jewish Quarter Josefov you can also climb to Letná Park, there is a metronome and nice view of Prague

Charles Bridge (Karlův most)

- on the left side of the river /bridge there is Malá Strana district

- you can also visit St. Nicholas Church
- on the right side of the river /bridge when you walk up the river there is the most wonderful view of Prague Castle (tram station Karlovy Lázně), you can also walk to National Theatre and visit Café Slavia (historical meeting point of Prague intellectuals and dissident community)
- up to National Theatre is Dancing House /Fred and Ginger (Tančící dům) – rare modern art building in Prague
Prague Castle (Pražský hrad)
- the largest ancient castle in the world, nowadays residence of the president
- there are many buildings you can visit but I think circuit B is the best (250,-CZK /person = 9 EUR) because of St. Vitus Cathedral (Katedrála sv. Víta) and Golden Lane (Zlatá ulička)
- pay also attention to the Changing of the Guard (every hour 7:00 – 18:00, at 12:00 with fanfare and flag ceremony) in the first courtyard
